Award of Excellence

Project: The Financial Center
Architect: Bohlin Cywinski Jackson
Location: Milford, PA

The jury applauded the seamless integration of interior work spaces with the exterior natural environment. They liked the selection and use of materials and how they were detailed. "A Great Place to Work."


Honor Award

Project: Law offices in Butler Valley
Architect: Williams Kinsman Lewis Architecture

The Jury Liked how the solution met program requirements and how it has taken advantage of the site. The jury also liked how the solution rose above the usual Industrial Park Development.


Project: Scranton Enterprise Center
Architect: Hemmler + Camayd Architects
Location: Scranton, PA

The Jurors praised this project for its contextual urban sensitive solution; the Phase II integration of the parking/office space with Phase I makes for a complete package.


Project: Private Residence
Architect: Hemmler + Camayd Architects
Location: Waverly, PA

Although not able to see what the conventional neighbor's homes looked like, the jury thought this was a very thoughtful residential solution to a "conventional suburban cu-de-sac neighborhood." Nice interior.


Project: 70 Montgomery Park
Architect: C. Allen Mullins, Architect
Location: Boston, MA

The jury was pleased with this elegant addition, restoration and sensitive solution to a historic townhouse. The jury would like to commend the architect for his responsiveness to the local reviewing agencies.


Project: Shelving Rock Residence
Architect: Bohlin Cywinski Jackson
Location: Lake George, NY

The jury unanimously agreed on how wonderfully warm and livable this residence would be with simple yet elegant detailing.


Project: Office Building in Milford
Architect: Williams Kinsman Lewis Architecture
Location: Milford Township, PA

Jurors liked how this project related to its natural surroundings, the use of wood is richly detailed. The jury especially liked the entrance elevation and its welcoming feeling.


Special Recognition Award

Project: Great Valley Innovation Center
Architect: Bohlin Cywinski Jackson
Location: Wilkes-Barre, PA  

The innovative recognition and use of the existing structural elements combined with the introduction of natural light to the interior of a large floor plate helped jurors recognize that something special was going on enough to give this project special recognition, as an interiors project.
